The Community Environmental
  Liaison Committee is an advisory
  body to Louisiana-Pacific Canada
  Limited, East River, NS for our plant's
  Composting Facility.

      The Community Environmental
                Liaison Committee:

    - Provides information on matters
      regarding operations of the
      Composting Facility that may
      have or is perceived to have
      environmental impacts.

    - Provides an avenue for the exchange of information on the project to the community's
      interested individuals and other parties.



    - The 8th Annual Open House for the compost facility will be held on Saturday, June 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the East River Union Hall 
       at 7216 Highway 329 in East River. Our event this year will include a plant sale, facility tour and  guest speakers Niki Jabbour and Rod Fry.
